Timely Automatic Time Tracking App Reviews

A lot of the jobs I work at doesnt have wifi or phone service. You cant even open this app without the net. Too expensive also $15 mo.

The simple interface allowed me to quickly set up my metrics to measure time inputs for different projects. With the accurate tracking of time, Im better able to price my art in a way that pays me for the time I spend, not just a guess! Also, when I know Im tracking time, I stay better focused.

This is the best time keeper that I have found for my freelance work.

I absolutely love this app. They are constantly making improvements to build on this already fantastic app. Smooth syncing between the desktop and mobile versions too.

Uncluttered, easy to use. Can set up multiple projects to track time against, set up hourly rate, and get good monthly reports, which help me invoice appropriately. Nice that it has a planned and unplanned function to time tasks.

This app is perfect for keeping track of how much time you spend per project and how much to charge based on your rate. Very easy to use and intuitive.

Timely is a paradigm-shattering app, breaking down the barrier between planning time and tracking it. I use Timely to allocate time days and weeks in advance, and the track it throughout the day. The app integrations (especially with Trello) help me manage multiple projects at once. A great product.

Very easy to track time and make notes on each task of a project. Time and notes are easily exported to a nice pdf report. It would be nice to have a little more flexibility over the reports.

Sounds like a good idea, but controls on my watch werent responsive. Once I started time in a project I couldnt stop it. The screen was unresponsive initially, but eventually it moved to the screen with the pause button. However, repeated taps on the pause button did nothing. I tried to stop it on my phone and that didnt work.

Does what its supposed to do. Sometimes acts up, but nothing a little cursing and patience for new upgrades cant fix. Also, its free, so thats rad.

I sifted through a lot of hours-tracking apps in the App Store and tried using 3 or 4 (including one paid app) before finding this one. This is exactly what I need and has a great design. If youre using it as an individual, it really is completely free.

I use this every day to track my hours. I work for a project-based org, so being able to track time under multiple projects is necessary, and I like that it doesnt force you to use a calendar (with specific times), just the number of hours worked. Theres logged time (I worked X number of hours today), a stopwatch option to track in real time, and a planned time option, all of which are helpful. Its also visually appealing and intuitive. My only suggestion is to add a week view on the mobile app. I count hours by week and I dont think the mobile app allows you to see the number of hours you have worked so far that week, either on the calendar view or in reports - only by month. Otherwise its the best app Ive found for this purpose.

Pausing a timer and modifying the recorded time causes the record to be reset to zero. This is really frustrating if Ive been working for several hours and need to modify the time by a few minutes (usually when I forget to shut it off). As soon as I touch the scroller it resets and there is no way of knowing how much time has already been logged. This is really frustrating! All the other great features are useless if it cant do the simple thing that its made to do!

Great for planning out my day and tracking my hours. I use this to supplement my existing work schedule in Asana, which Timely gives me a level of detail and reporting no other app can. If youre on Mac OS, MAKE SURE YOU GET ON THE TRACKER BETA.
