Timely Automatic Time Tracking App Reviews

I am a freelance translator and I use Timely to organize my weekly schedule. Its perfect for visualizing my work for the week, I can organize ongoing and new assignments faster. I can track the time I have spent on all translation projects. The interface is nice and easy to use. I would definitely recommend it to my fellow freelancers.

I use the app everyday to plan my schedule and to track all my activities, including work and projects as a freelancer. Its a nice way to be accountable for the tasks and goals I defined for the day and the week ;) !

Please bring back the "completed" mark. I need to transfer everything into JIRA later and need a way to mark entries as logged without deleting then. Why is this checkmark gone?

This app is just what I need to track my projects billable hours. I love that you can check the timeline too, in case you need to adjust something (i.e. if you forgot to stop the timer when you got interrupted...)

I love how Im able its universal (iPhone & iPad) and how its flexible in how it can be used. It makes planning my time much easier when I sort the projects for the day and see them like I would an agenda. Moreover, the timer helps keep me on track.

This is the first time tracking app that matches how I expected to track my time, and it looks and functions very smoothly. There are a couple quirky bugs (occasionally resets my time tracked on one unit if Im switching between devices, and generally has no shake-to-undo functionality), but I expect those to get ironed out shortly enough

Very good app for a self employed designer. I prefer the desktop app as there are more options and it is more user friendly. There are some very useful integration with other apps! Some updates I would like to see are the ability to skip to a date to check and update a task that may have been missed and it would be nice to see a visual pie graph showing work completed by client or project in a given time. All in all a great app that is now in my daily arsenal keep up the great work!

Great time tracking app for freelancers. Exporting time sheets is a useful feature. Excited to see this evolve.

App is half-done, opens up a browser to give you the largest part of the functionality. Website not very useable either on mobile. Besides that, workflow would be awesome... I wish there were an app for that.

I have been using the basic functions of this product, both online and mobile. I enter my time manually. This software is really helpful in planning and organizing your time, and really helpful when it comes time to write invoices. The desktop version has additional functionality which makes this product really useful, especially for the consultant in the field. I have not had any issues with this software. Keep up the good work Mathias!!

Really usefull nad well designed

All aspects of Timely are well-executed - the app focuses and whats important and helps me do my job efficiently. The ecosystem works great together and is being developed in a satisfying direction. Looking forward to seeing it evolve even better!

Works well both on mobile and desktop

Useful and good designed app. But the app has some sync issues between Apple Watch, iPhone and web.

I feel this app is a must have for any small business owners or freelance consultants. I currently use it to keep track of my carpentry jobs and I love how I can enter in the planned time and compare the difference to how long a project actually took me. This has really improved my overall productivity and having my billing information built in is a god send. I recommend this to everyone...!!!!!!!

Easy to use and track. Great UI

Easy migration from calendar and easy to create project categories. Can also quickly create an event to time in app.

Using timely over the last 6 months has helped me properly track and correctly bill clients for hours. Its featured benefit is for productivity for the user, but the secondary benefit is passed on to clients. That keeps projects on scope and budget, providing great value that equates to happy clients and more $$$$.
